The card connects to a standard SATA data cable and mounts in an expansion card slot to allow access and swapping of CompactFlash cards in a compatible PC. Despite the form factor, the card does not a PCI-E slot to operate.
I only used this for a few weeks before removing it from my PC. Removing cards from the rear of the case just isn't convenient for my setup, but the device works as expected. No CompactFlash cards or cables are included.
