Is Jawa legit? Yes.
Every order is protected: we hold your payment until you confirm it arrived as described, or you get your money back.
Buyer protection on every order
The single biggest difference between Jawa and Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, or OfferUp: your money is protected until you have your item in hand.
We hold the payment
When you pay, Jawa holds the funds. The seller is paid only after the item is delivered and you have had a chance to check it.
Your item ships, tracked
Every order is tracked: most ship on a prepaid Jawa label, and sellers using their own label must upload tracking, so you can follow the package to your door.
You inspect, then we release
You have 2 days after delivery to inspect your item. Receive it as described or get your money back. Only after that window closes is the seller paid.
We've got your back
If anything goes wrong with your order, you're covered, and sorting it out costs you nothing: if an item never arrives or isn't as described, you get a full refund.
You're covered for
- ✓Orders that never arrive
- ✓Items not as described in the listing
- ✓Items that arrive damaged, defective, or inauthentic
- ✓Orders that haven't shipped within 3 business days

Built by experts, backed by a real community
We know this hardware
Jawa is built by PC people, for PC people, with a builder community trading advice every day on our Discord.
Quality listings, fair prices
Once a listing is live, our team and the community keep watch, flagging anything that looks fake, broken, or overpriced.
Verified, rated sellers
Every seller has public ratings and review history you can check on each listing and profile, and established sellers can earn a Verified badge through sales history, strong reviews, and identity verification.
Support that gets it
A US-based team that understands gaming PCs and parts, reachable by chat, ticket, email, or phone when you need a person.
The people behind Jawa
Jawa's CEO Amanda was building a PC during the worst of the pandemic supply shortages and couldn't believe how painful it was: plenty of gamers were selling great gear at fair prices, just with nowhere good to find them, so we built one. We started with components, then custom-PC builders flocked in to reach a national audience, and that's the heart of Jawa today.
The mission has stayed simple: to be the best place to buy and sell PC hardware at fair prices.
Amanda
With over a decade building and scaling businesses, Amanda leads operations at Jawa. She also holds the high score on Ms. Pac-Man at the Boulder Arcade.
Andrew
Andrew has spent over a decade in and around startups and now runs technology at Jawa. He learned chess on a Tandy Color Computer and has been gaming ever since.
Ryan
Ryan has been building PCs for over 15 years and joined Jawa in its early days as a seller. He leads Customer Success, helping buyers and sellers alike get the most out of the platform. He has Platinumed every God of War title.
Thomas
Thomas has been building and flipping PCs since he was 15, long before it was a business. A lifelong PC gamer who grew up on tech YouTube, he still logs more League hours than he'll admit.

FAQ
The questions shoppers ask most before their first order.
Is Jawa a scam?
No. Jawa is one of the safest places to buy gaming hardware online. When people worry about a scam, they usually mean one thing: paying for a GPU or PC and getting nothing, or an item nothing like the listing. That is exactly what Jawa prevents. Your payment is held in escrow and released to the seller only after your item is delivered and you confirm it matches the listing, so a seller can't take your money and disappear. If it never arrives or isn't as described, you get a full refund. Every seller also has public ratings and review history you can check before you buy, and established sellers carry a Verified badge.
What happens if my item doesn't arrive or isn't as described?
You get a full refund. With Jawa Buyer Protection, if your item never arrives or does not match the listing description, we refund you. Payment is only released to the seller after the item is delivered and you have had a chance to check it.
What does buyer protection cover?
Jawa Buyer Protection covers orders that never arrive, items that are significantly different from the listing, and items that arrive damaged, defective, or inauthentic. If your order has not shipped within 3 business days, you can also cancel it for a full refund.
How do I get a refund if something is wrong?
Report the problem within 2 days of delivery. Open the order under "My Purchases" and choose "Dispute this Purchase," or email support@jawa.gg. If the item needs to be returned, we arrange a prepaid return label. Once the return is confirmed, we issue your refund.
How are my payments protected?
When you pay, Jawa holds the funds rather than handing them straight to the seller. The seller is paid only after delivery and your inspection window. Every order is tracked, whether it ships on a prepaid Jawa label or a seller's own label with uploaded tracking.
How long has Jawa been around?
Jawa launched in 2021 and has been growing ever since. That is more than four years of buying and selling gaming PCs, GPUs, and parts, with a community that started as a Discord and a US-based support team behind every order.
How long do I have to inspect my order?
You have 2 days after delivery to inspect your item and report a problem. Open the order under "My Purchases" and choose "Dispute this Purchase," or email support@jawa.gg. The seller is not paid until that window closes, so reporting in time keeps your payment protected.
