Parts were chosen to optimize the price to performance for gaming all the newest titles with Ultra settings at 1440p (2k) resolution or high-medium settings at 2160p (4k) resolution. The 7800 XT is a great value card! I used one for more than a year in my personal computer and would play at 100+ fps at my 2k desk monitor or 60 fps on my 4k TV, and I never used upscaling. The 7800XT trades blows with the RTX 5070 in non-raytraced titles, but the 7800 XT's 16GB of VRAM means no stuttering and good 1% lows at 1440p. The Powercolor Hellhound is a premium model with a bios switch, great overclocking potential, cool temps, and quiet performance. The 5800X is a well-matched CPU for 1440p and provides plenty of horsepower for gaming, programming, and daily use, and a 2TB NVME SSD gives you plenty of room to install dozens of new AAA game titles.
