I recently built this PC from components I rarely used. Some components may have scratches or other signs of wear. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, want me to send pictures of specific components, or other concerns.
TLDR:
- CPU: De-lidded Intel i7-10700KF
- GPU: Asus TUF RTX 3060 12GB (additional ARGB strip added)
- Case: Thermaltake S200 Plus TG ARGB
- Motherboard: MSI Z490 Gaming Carbon Wi-Fi
- RAM: 2x16gb Neo Forza MARS (XMP1: 4400c19-26-26-46 XMP2: 3600c18-22-22-42)
- Storage: 2x512GB NVMe
- PSU: 750w Thermaltake Toughpower Grand RGB
- CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition (2x120mm)
- Case fans: front-3x120mm; top-2x120mm; rear-1x120mm
- OS: Windows 11 Pro (Activated)
Details:
-
CPU: De-lidded Intel Core i7-10700KF - I used the RockitCool Delid Kit (not included) to remove the IHS from the CPU and replaced the solder with liquid metal for better thermal conductivity. This 10700KF has liquid metal between the IHS and CPU die and Arctic MX-5 Thermal Paste between the IHS and CPU Cooler.
-
GPU: Asus TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3060 12GB OC Edition (TUF-RTX3060-012G-GAMING) - I added a 5mm wide strip of LEDs inside the fan shroud because I heard more RGB = more FPS (in hindsight, probably not true). I can remove the LED strip before shipping the PC if requested, but imo, it looks nice. GPU was re-pasted with Arctic MX-5 Thermal Paste recently (like end of April-ish).
-
Motherboard: MSI Z490 Gaming Carbon Wi-Fi - updated to latest BIOS (7C73v1E). Original Wi-Fi Antenna included.
-
RAM: 2x16gb Neo Forza MARS (NMGD416E82-4400GF20). This RAM has two XMP profiles: XMP1: [email protected] & XMP2: [email protected]. XMP1 does not pass OCCT memory stress test so the system will come with XMP2 enabled. Memory ICs are Hynix DJR.
-
Storage: Silicon Power SP512GBP34A60M28 512GB NVMe and Team Group TM8FP6512G0C101 512GB MP33 - S.M.A.R.T info in pictures.
-
PSU: Thermaltake Toughpower Grand RGB 750w Gold Full Modular - 80 Plus Gold.
-
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition CPU Air Cooler - I replaced the stock 120mm Cooler Master fan with two 120mm Arctic P12 fans.
-
Case fans: front fans are the 3x120mm Thermaltake LE120 ARGB Sync fans that come with the case; top fans are 2x120mm Thermaltake Pure12 fans; and the rear exhaust is another 1x120mm Thermaltake Pure12 fan. The top & exhaust fans have Phanteks 120mm ARGB Halos. The corner of the rear exhaust fan is cracked. It doesn't seem to affect noise or performance.
-
OS: Windows 11 Pro - latest 24H2 build, activated. If you'd like me to remove some of the bloat that comes with Windows, let me know. Otherwise, I'll install latest drivers, Steam, and a few other apps/programs & leave it alone.
