The story behind this PC: This PC started its life as a prebuilt that was purchased from ABS in November 2023. I used it for about 6 months (lightly) and then removed the CPU, GPU and SSD in order to build a new rig out of those parts. With the rest of the computer still in great shape and perfectly usable, I decided late this year to buy a new CPU, a new SSD, get a refurbished GPU, and upgrade the ram (it originally had a slow kit of 16gb) so I can sell it and with the profits, help my disabled buddy get a new motorized chair (long story, but Medicare refused to replace the one he had that broke down). So should you buy this PC, know that your purchase will help a disabled person in need.
IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: I got the Gigiabyte RTX 3080 Gaming OC refurbished from iBuypower. When I received it, I put it in the system and stress tested it overnight. It works great, temperatures are fine and it hasn't crashed or given me a single problem once. I did find out later why it was RMA'd: The RGB on the card doesn't work perfectly. With the Gigabyte Control Center utility software that controls the RGB on the card, only the red color turns on in "static" mode. It seems to work normally in other modes such as "wave" and "pulse." Therefore, I chose to leave the RGB on the graphics card turned off in the pictures. This is, to my knowledge, the only function of the PC that doesn't work as expected.
