After some deliberation, I have finally decided to sell my old rig to build a new one! I have only had it for a few months (built originally in November 2023) and it has served me well at 1080p high-ultra settings on almost every game, especially competitive games, and will perform incredibly at 1440p as well.
The specs are as follows:
- Ryzen 7 5800X3D (equal performance to the Intel i7-13700K)
- Thermalright Aqua Elite V3 240 mm AIO
- 32 GB of Mushkin Redline Lumina RAM at 3600 MT/s and CL16
- 2 TB of storage divided between two 1 TB M.2 drives (first is a TEAMGROUP Cardea Zero Z440 and the second is a Samsung 970 Evo Plus)
- ASRock B550M PG Riptide MATX Motherboard + Intel AX200 Wifi 6 Adapter
- Corsair RM850e 80+ Gold Fully Modular PSU (all cables included) + AsiaHorse Blue PSU Extensions (all extensions included)
- Zalman P30 Case w/ 7 Thermalright TL-C12C-S 120 mm ARGB fans + Thermalright Fan/ARGB Hub
- Radeon RX 6800 XT 16 GB XFX Speedster MERC 319 CORE (equivalent performance to the RTX 3080, higher performance than the RTX 4070)
- Windows 11 Pro
All RGB with the exception of the lights on the GPU are addressable via a variety of softwares. PC will come double boxed alongside:
- All remaining case accessories (PCI slot covers, screws, etcetera)
- All remaining PSU cables (both the ones that came with the modular PSU, and the colored extensions)
I don’t have a list of benchmarks at the moment, but it was more than capable of pushing well over 200 FPS in almost any competitive game and well over 90 FPS in many non-competitive titles with the graphics settings cranked up (with the exception of Ark: Survival Ascended only ever reaching 60 at medium settings, big surprise). PC will come completely wiped and ready for setup.
Note* The 6800 XT is a little loud when the fans ramp up, and there is a little bit of coil wine but only when in game. It is quiet (especially with headphones on), but please be aware of this before buying. This noise can easily be fixed by tuning the GPU in AMD Adrenaline, which I will provide instructions for upon request.
