Overview & Specs
Description:
This is my gaming PC. It has a Ryzen 9 3900X with 12 cores and 24 threads which has been more than enough for everything I throw at it. Initially, when I built the PC there was an EVGA 2070 Super but I upgraded to an EVGA 3080 XC3 12GB LHR which has been great for maxing out graphics and using ray tracing. There is 64GB of DDR4 3600MHz installed and 2TB of storage. 1TB coming from a Samsung 860 EVO SSD and the other from a Samsung 970 EVO NVME. I have included some benchmarks as images.
Specifications:
Case - Phanteks Eclipse P600S
Processor - AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 4.6 GHz 12-Core Processor
Cooling - NZXT Kraken Z63
Motherboard - Asus ROG STRIX X570-E
Memory - Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 64GB 3600MHz
Storage - 1TB Samsung 860 EVO SSD + 1TB Samsung 970 EVO NVME
Graphics card - EVGA RTX 3080 XC3 Ultra 12GB VRAM LHR
Power Supply - EVGA 850 GQ Gold
Misc. 4 brand new RGB fans installed
Additional Notes:
I have not fully figured out the RGB fans, only 1 is recognized by the NZXT CAM software. It may have a faulty RGB controller. It never bothered me because I wanted the fans to have a light color.
Windows 10 is installed
The build does include an Asus ROG Herculx GPU Support Bracket
