• I’ve also included a microfiber cloth and a can of compressed air, so you shouldn’t have to stock up on cleaning supplies for a while

When it comes to getting the best bang for your buck with PC’s, sometimes you want something new, and sometimes you want something used. With that in mind, here’s the full parts list with an explanation of why I went with each option:

Motherboard: Gigabyte B450M DSCH Bought used - Will probably become outdated before it breaks down, and the AM4 platform offers cheap upgrade paths. Plus, there’s plenty of I/O for whatever you’d like.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 Bought this used - in great condition and gives us plenty of performance to enjoy modern games

CPU Cooler: AMD Wraith Stealth Bought this used - Plenty strong to cool a CPU and okay on noise.

GPU: MSI Armor Radeon 570 RX 8 GB Bought used - this can run modern games comfortably, is in good condition, and came at a phenomenal price.

RAM: 16 GB(2 x 8) DDR4 TFORCE Vulcan Z 3200Mt/s CL16, Used Bought this used - large enough to comfortably run modern games, and is uncannily fast for the price and in excellent condition!

Storage: Crucial P2 1TB NVMe SSD, Used Bought this used - has plenty of space for games and will probably outlast the rest of this PC.

PSU: Rosewill VNG 650W, New Bought brand new; essentially 0 price difference between buying new or refurbished, and this came with a 5-year warranty!

Case: Okinos Cypress 3, New Gives a nice sleek look, comes with real wood, and includes a case box to ship the PC in (With additional packaging)

*As a note, because the motherboard did not come with a higher USB slot available, the USB-C port runs through an adapter to USB 2.0, and as such only has the capabilities of USB 2.0 (2.5 Watts charging and 480 MB/s Data Transfer). Should be plenty to charge your smartphone or to transfer some files, but not much more.
