This is a real potato made from spare parts that I couldn't bring myself to scrap. It does run well and has great potential. This would be a great platform to learn about upgrading a PC or the starting point for a retro build. Or, use it as-is for basic web browsing.  

Benchmarks

• This PC is not intended for hardcore gaming. It may run some very light games such as Roblox or Minecraft Bedrock, but they may not be perfectly smooth. If you have any questions about a game or its performance, please let me know!  

PC Specs

• Intel Xeon E5504 Quad Core. Originally, I wanted to put a 6 core Xeon that I had on hand in this, but found out that the motherboard only supports earlier "Bloomfield" based chips. This does include many first gen i7 extreme and Xeon CPUs
• 12GB DDR3 (3x4GB) running in triple channel!
• Dell XPS 435MT motherboard, LGA 1366, no IO shield
• Radeon R5 340 1GB, really just an HDMI adapter. Swapping this would dramatically improve gaming performance.
• 256GB Samsung SATA SSD
• HP OEM Power Supply (standard ATX 24 pin)
• HP OEM case with some dings and scratches
• Windows 10 LTSC with security updates until 2031 (Cannot be upgraded to Windows 11 natively)
