Compact X3D Gaming PC — Built, Tuned and Tested by PYUR

This compact 18.4-liter gaming PC was built around a clear purpose: deliver excellent 1080p gaming performance in a portable Mini-ITX system while providing a practical entry point to the AM5 platform.

The Ryzen 5 7500X3D provides the large 3D V-Cache that games like Escape from Tarkov benefit from, while the RTX 4060 delivers efficient 1080p performance without producing excessive heat inside the compact Hyte Revolt 3.

This is the exact system featured in Episode 2 of Built by PYUR. It has been fully configured, optimized and tested—not simply assembled and listed for sale.

Configuration and Tuning

The system has been fully updated and configured for efficient, consistent gaming performance.

• Motherboard BIOS updated

• Current NVIDIA graphics drivers installed

• Windows fully updated

• Curve Optimizer set to negative 15

• EXPO enabled at DDR5-6000 CL36

• UCLK configured equal to MCLK for a 1:1 memory-controller ratio

• Infinity Fabric configured at 2100MHz

These are light, sensible settings that remain comfortably within safe operating limits. Nothing extreme has been applied.

Gaming and Stability Testing

The system was tested in a real online Escape from Tarkov raid on Streets using my PYUR60 settings at 1080p with raw FPS and no frame generation.

Testing included:

• An online scav raid with unnecessary background applications closed

• A separate test with Discord, Chrome, a YouTube video, the Tarkov Wiki and additional browser tabs running

• Monitoring of physical memory, page-file activity, temperatures and general responsiveness

RAM usage reached approximately 14.5GB during testing. Even with normal background applications running, the actual gameplay experience remained responsive and felt effectively the same during my testing.

The fast Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus provides Windows with a responsive page-file fallback when physical memory fills, although it should not be considered a replacement for additional RAM.

Important Memory Information

This PC intentionally starts with one 16GB DDR5-6000 CL36 module. The system is completely functional as configured, but one memory module provides less aggregate memory bandwidth than two matching modules.

The second memory slot remains open, giving the buyer a straightforward path to 32GB later. I will provide the exact installed memory information so the closest possible matching module can be selected.

The 7500X3D’s large 3D V-Cache helps reduce the gaming-performance penalty associated with the single-module configuration, which is one of the primary reasons this processor was selected for the build.
