This is a fresh build with new parts (other than the GPU - newly purchased refurbished). The goal here is to put together a budget option for folks who want something that plays all current games at a entry-level price. On par with current gen consoles - even beating the VRAM of the Steam Machine.
Good option since the Steam Machine won't be cheap.
- MSI NVidia RTX 3060 12GB Gaming Trio. The 3060 is the rock of GPUs. I doubt any GPU will have the staying power of the 3060 12GB. Steam Machine and PS5 in performance. See the included TechPowerUp relative GPU performance chart. Steam Machine is roughly a RX7600; PS5 is roughly a 6650XT with 12GB VRAM.
