Finally getting away from the RTX 2080, this PC instead features an RTX 3070, another great 1080p-1440p card with plenty of power to play any game I threw at it.

Paired with the 3070 is a water cooled Ryzen 9 3900X, a 12-core powerhouse that is capable of much more than just gaming. It’s also more power efficient than I thought it would be, drawing at most 130W during unrealistic scenarios.

Tying these together is 16GB of Corsair RAM @ 3000MHz, a 1TB Crucial SATA drive, and a B550 motherboard with built-in WiFi. This should provide a smooth experience with easy out-of-box setup.

The motherboard also has slots for two NVMe drives along with two more RAM slots, making these upgrades an easy drop-in option.
