This is a little project of mine, this was a old prebuilt that i had for a couple of years, I had now months without using it, so I decided to upgrade it in all possible ways and find it a new owner who hopefully can put it to use.
The system NOW has a:
- GTX 1660 TI
- FX-8350
- 16Gb 800hz
- 512gb SSD (550 transfer rate)
- 256gb SSD (500 transfer rate)
- EVGA 500W white
- a WIFI 6+ Bluetooth 5.2 dongle
- Asus M5A97le R 2.0 AM3+
The PC also comes with:
- all needed cables
- a ASUS 1080p, 25”, 75hz ultra-slim monitor
- RGB mouse and keyboard
- 2 covers for the GPU ports
- Ethernet Cable of 6gb in case you prefer LAN instead of WiFi
Now.. I not only upgraded the components but also de OS. This system is perfectly compatible with Windows 11 but you probably heard that Win 11 isn’t in its best moment, and win 10 is better in performance, so I bought a Win 10 license + on top installed AtlasOS which is a app that eliminates all the unnecessary apps that cap performance in gaming ( I doesn’t eliminate Microsoft store or Xbox app, and does not harm in any way any of the components)
Benchmarks:
I will upload some image of the 5 games that I tried on this systems which are : Fortnite, Counter Strike 2, Left for dead 2, Sons of the forest, and Helldivers 2.
If you are interested in getting this system I encourage you to send me a message and ask me for any other game that you want me to try and I will happily send you a video or picture of the MSI afterburner marks on the game.
Also if you don’t like the idea of AtlasOS I will happily change the OS to which ever you prefer BUT if it is windows 11 you would need the buy the license when you get the pc, also if you want me to install anything or change anything I can help you with that and even after you buy we can keep in contact and if you need help with anything, drivers, info, BIOS, changing the OS, etc. I would happily help you.
The upgrade:
This system is a old prebuilt that had a Gtx 750ti, fx-4350, and 256gb ssd, ( I don’t want to make this too long so in simple words ) I just studied which were the best components that this system could handle, which for the CPU ended being the FX- 8350, a BEAST that was launched on 2012 but has a speed of 4.00GHz, 8 Cores, and 8 Threads ( and I’m only calling it beast because 4.00GHZ on 2012 sound crazy to me ) for the GPU I ended choosing the 1660ti instead of the rx580 because I also wanted to make it “future proof” so if you want to upgrade later you can just change to AM4 and the GPU will still run anything. I upgraded the storage with 512gb of ssd, also bought a WIFI/Bluetooh dongle, bought screws because I lost 2 of them a years ago.
As you can see on the pictures this IS NOT a modern or high end system, but is capable of running most games at medium or low settings for sure as you can see, I’m not trying to sell you a cheap and terrible machine, I’m trying to find my old warrior a better owner that can put it to use with this little upgrade to new pieces. in the linked video you can see how this combo usually works, but as you can see in my pictures thanks to atlasOS, and a lot of optimization it can show more FPS. (as you can see in the Taskmanager picture the system isn't using the RAM that much even with 4 chrome tabs opened, that is because of all of the background processes that were eliminated by AtlasOS ).
Please ask me anything I love computers :D
Unfortunately I can’t upload more than 10 images or videos so please contact me if you want to see little clips of the gameplays of the pictures. (that is why the helldivers is soo blurry i just took a screenshot from the clip i recorded and did zoom to the afterburner graph).
