This is a serious investment into the AM5 platform that sets you up for future upgrades without compromise. The Asus ROG Strix B650E-F brings PCIe 5.0 support and robust VRMs that won't bottleneck whatever you throw at it down the line. That DDR5-6000 CL28 RAM is genuinely rare these days (a unicorn during the rampocalypse, really). Sure, you could find cheaper components, but what's the point of investing in AM5 if you'll need to replace the motherboard and RAM later? The XPG INVADER X includes a vertical GPU bracket if you want to switch up the style down the road¹, and the Asus TUF 5070 is whisper-quiet and plenty capable should the AI craze drag on longer than expected.

RGB is handled exclusively through SignalRGB. I've grown tired of juggling multiple programs that may or may not play nice with each other. SignalRGB recently switched to a purchase-as-you-go model where basic effects are free. If you fancy a more complex effect, you pay once and unlock it forever. No subscriptions for RGB software.

Performance-wise, the 7600X pulls up to 160W with PBO enabled and hits its thermal limit of 95°C during sustained loads. I've tuned the fans for silence, so if those temps make you uncomfortable, feel free to disable PBO for a single-digit performance loss. You'll get a truly silent PC. Eight Jungle Leopard fans keep airflow strong without the noise². Outside of stress testing, temps are far more reasonable.

The SAMA PSU is B-tier on the SPL PSU tier list and connects directly to the TUF 5070 via its native 12V-2x6 cable. This minimizes the fire hazard that comes with this famously sketchy connector and gives you headroom for future upgrades.Note that you get sag brackets from both the GPU and case here, so don't buy one in anticipation should you purchase this :)
