Overview & Specs
This is a solid build that balances visual appeal with reliable gaming performance. The 3700X's eight cores pair nicely with the 4060, which can handle DLSS 4.5 upscaling. You get competent 1080p gaming alongside light productivity work.
The B550 chipset brings PCIe 4.0 support so the SN770 can run at full speeds, and future GPUs won't be bottlenecked by slower lanes. More importantly, it has decent vrms, leaving the door open for a CPU upgrade down the road should you decide to do so. You may only have 16GB of ram, but this insanely fast kit is running at 3600 CL14, you can keep it or sell it for a more reasonable kit if you want :)
RGB is handled exclusively through SignalRGB. I've grown tired of juggling multiple programs that may or may not play nice with each other. SignalRGB recently switched to a purchase-as-you-go model where basic effects are free. If you fancy a more complex effect, you pay once and unlock it forever. No subscriptions for RGB software.
Performance-wise, this build runs fairly quiet thanks to a conservative fan curve I set before nuking Razer Synapse¹. PBO is enabled for a modest performance bump, though it does run a bit toasty. If that bothers you, disable PBO for a single-digit performance loss and cooler temps. The GPU stays impressively chill even under load, mostly because the 40-series had a significant efficiency jump from 30-series.
The Raidmax sits at C-tier on the SPL PSU tier list. Nothing to write home about, but it includes a native 12VHPWR cable for newer GPUs.
Specs:

- Extras: Added Razer Kunai 120mm Fan, 16AWG Sleeved Cable Extensions, Additional Accessories³
This system comes with a fresh Windows 11 Pro installation (other than preinstalled apps⁴) and will require initial setup on first boot.
¹You'll need to reinstall Razer Synapse if you want to adjust the fan curve from its current quiet preset.
²Downclocked from 4333 CL19, do not enable XMP in bios otherwise it will try to run this speed, which is basically impossible for Ryzen to achieve.
³Wifi Antennas, PSU cable, remaining case, motherboard, and cooler accessories.
⁴Preinstalled apps include SignalRGB, NVIDIA App, SanDisk Dashboard, and Steam.
