Performance & Positioning • The RX 9060 XT is positioned as a midrange to upper-midrange card, suitable for 1440p gaming with good settings, and strong for 1080p high frame-rate use.  • It features 2,048 stream processors (32 compute units) and also 32 ray accelerators, 64 AI accelerators, etc.  • In reviews, thermal performance is good thanks to the cooling system, with relatively modest power draw, so it’s efficient compared to some higher-end GPUs.  • However, the 8 GB VRAM is a limitation in 2025: some more demanding games or settings (especially at 1440p with high textures) may push beyond 8 GB; modern titles increasingly benefit from more VRAM. • There is also a 16GB variant of RX 9060 XT that may help mitigate VRAM constraints.
