I only powered it on to confirm that it is a brand new drive, because it didn't come in retail packaging when it arrived from WD.  The second photo of this listing shows the CrystalDiskInfo screenshot confirming this is a new drive.  If you look at Power on Hours of 0, you can see that it is a new drive.
