AMD Ryzen 5 8400F 4.2 GHz 6-Core Processor
Purchased January 6th, but wasn't in a system until mid February. Daily use in a gaming PC with excellent cooling, so no signs of any thermal throttling/damage. Only reached past 65°C during benchmarking, no spikes, and consistently under 60°C. Has a little bit of thermal paste on the edges of the die, was quite heavy handed with thermal paste the first time. Replaced by 9600X on June 21st, and is packaged in the box that the new cpu came in.
Starting point for entry level AM5 PC gaming, and is just slightly under compared with the Ryzen 5 7600 overall, but does beat it in some areas.
