This CPU performs about 25-50% worse in titles compared to a 12600k. You can get a 12600k for 270$, this makes the price to performance for this cpu about 3x better.

I used this cpu for 3 years after buying it in summer 2016. I built a new pc in august of 2019, and this has been sitting in it for 3 years dormant. I booted into bios, checked windows, and everything worked great. I even ran some old games and it boosted accordingly and thermals were good (for the time).
