This controller works with a handful of Xbox games - The House of the Dead III and Sniper Scope Complete, most notably - and requires a CRT television or monitor. It will not work with flat-panel LCD, OLED, plasma, or projection TVs, according to its manual.
I used this light gun for a playthrough of The House of the Dead III and acquired it briefly for that zombie-killing fest, but given its age, it's safe to assume that it was in service for must longer than that.
