This listing is for an ASUS ROG Strix X670E-E Wifi pulled from my personal PC after a series of ongoing RAM-related stability issues forced me to replace the motherboard. Other than the RAM-related problems listed below, everything else with the motherboard is fully functional.
This is an As-Is condition listing, so buy at your own risk!
Here are the known issues discovered during testing:
-
When tested with my personal 7950X3D, PBO and DOCP/XMP/EXPO could not be used at the same time or the motherboard fails to POST.
-
When tested with two separate RAM kits, one of which was on the QVL list, reboots would happen without any warning at randomly occurring times whether the system was idling or under heavy use. The kits used during testing were a Teamgroup Delta RGB kit in 2x16GB (32GB) configuration at 6400MHz CL32, and a G.Skill Trident Z5 Royal kit in 2x32GB (64GB) configuration at 6400MHz CL32. Both kits were tested at default 4800MHz CL40 and their XMP/EXPO 6400MHz CL32 profiles. Lowering both to 6000MHz CL32 did not address the issue either. Later testing with an X670 Aorus Elite board confirmed that these kits were not defective.
The motherboard BIOS has been updated to the latest stable version for improved CPU and RAM compatibility.
There is no serial number sticker on the motherboard, but I will provide the serial number on request after purchase. As an additional note the motherboard is under warranty until September 2025.
