I have an ipod classic 7th gen with upgraded 1TB solid state memory, carrying case, protective case, screen protector, charger brick and cable along with some other upgrades. The ipod still has plastic protection on the front face as well as plastic on the back that wraps around the entire ipod. The ipod charging port has been modified so that larger 3rd party chargers can fit easily. The top hold button does not sit flush but still works. The ipod drive is rated to run smoothly at roughly 50k songs. The default item description may be wrong so what you see in the pictures is what you will get.
