For smoother gameplay, the ASUS Strix GeForce GTX 980 Graphics Card offers a GPU that is factory overclocked to 1178 MHz. This boost in processing speed allows the GPU (graphics processing unit) to handle data more quickly, removing bottlenecks which could result in dropped frames during intense gaming sequences. The STRIX GTX 980 has 4GB of GDDR5 vRAM coupled to 2048 CUDA GPU cores. The cores are arranged using NVIDIA's Maxwell architecture for efficient operation. I had used this card in my personal system for years before handing it down to the family PC. It only remained in that system for a short time before I upgraded almost everything. Since then, this card has been sitting around.

I have taken very good care of this card, and cleaned it up. I set my components up to ensure they are all in working order, but have not stress tested them.
