Thermaltake Engine 27 1U CPU Cooler Used, good condition. (No thermal paste included)
Introduction Thermaltake Engine 27 1U Low-Profile CPU Cooler is specially designed with 27mm height, metallic structure, and copper base that offer a balance between performance, size, and acoustics. The compact size 60mm fan is the most aesthetically pleasing choice for small form factor applications, such as 1U server, HTPC, AIO/PIO PC, POS terminals, and Booksize/Mini PC. Moreover, with the built-in PWM fan and metallic blades and fins design, Engine 27 delivers extremely low noise levels without compromising on the cooling performance.
Specifications
- Intel LGA 1200/1156/1155/1151/1150/775
- 70W
- 1500~2500 RPM
- 50,000 hours

Lore: I purchased this cooler for my first PC build, inspired by the innovation of the Sandia Cooler concept. This was before the Gamers Nexus and LTT reviews were published. The thermal paste between the metallic fan base and the copper base was upgraded with Thermal Grizzly's Kyronaut to increase the heat transfer. It has been used for about a year until I started overclocking and thermal throttling. Then it was replaced with a Hyper 212 Evo. As such, the Engine 27 has been in storage for over 5+ years.
