If you plan on buying this processor, I suggest a minimum gpu requirement of a 5700XT/2070. A maximum GPU requirement of a 6800XT/3080Ti. You can get away with a worse gpu, but you will bottleneck in 1080p Low with anything better than those 2 GPUS.
This cpu is perfect for a blend of productivity and gaming on the side. It’s a great CPU for a mid-tier ultra 1080p-to high 1440p.
I highly suggest using a cooler with a fan, not a passive cooler.
The silicone is pretty good, I tested some overclocking and decided to just stick with PBO.
