One used AMD Ryzen R9 3950X CPU

16 cores/32 threads In most multi threaded workloads, it still beats the 12 core R9 5900X.

I used it for about a year until I upgraded to a 5950X. Its been sitting in the box on the shelf in my office since I bought a newer 16 core CPU.
