This CPU was my saving grace after a dark day all gamers dread. I was using my trust gaming rig with a i5-4960k. My palms were sweaty, and just when I reached to get a sip of water before getting the game-winning headshot... BANG! Spilled right through the top of my case and all over the motherboard. RIP 4960k.

After experiencing the 5 stages of grief and holding a brief funeral for my little war machine, I made a trip to Micro Center and purchased this bad boy to replace what was lost. Clocked at 3.4GHz, it boosts up to 3.9GHz and runs every game like a champ. I even managed to run Escape From Tarkov and Arma 3 (two terribly optimized games) with well over 60 FPS. I upgraded to another Ryzen CPU and used this for a total of about 3 years in my main PC.
