Required Power Usage
The EVGA GTX 1050 SC GAMING 2GB Graphics Card consumes up to 75 watts while in use. In order to power this GPU, you'll need to install it into an available PCIe x16 slot on your motherboard.
Unlike many higher-powered graphics cards, the EVGA GTX 1050 SC does not require an additional 6-pin or 8-pin PCIe power cable. The PCIe x16 interface is capable of supplying up to 75 watts of power, allowing this graphics card to receive the power it needs directly through the motherboard.
This makes the GTX 1050 SC a great option for upgrading systems with lower-wattage power supplies or power supplies that don't have dedicated PCIe power connectors.
EVGA recommends using a 300 watt or greater power supply to provide enough power for the graphics card and the other components installed in your computer.
Size & Dimensions
This is a dual-slot GPU, meaning the cooling system occupies the space of approximately two expansion slots inside your computer case.
With dimensions of approximately 145 x 111 mm (5.70 x 4.38 inches), the EVGA GTX 1050 SC is considerably more compact than many full-size gaming graphics cards.
Its short design makes it especially useful for smaller computer cases and systems where GPU clearance is limited. Since the graphics card doesn't require an external PCIe power cable, you also don't need to leave additional clearance above or behind the card for a PCIe power connector.
Available Video Out Ports
The EVGA GTX 1050 SC GAMING 2GB provides a total of 3 different video outputs:
1x DisplayPort 1.4
1x HDMI 2.0b
1x Dual-Link DVI-D
This graphics card supports up to 3 external monitors, enabling a multi-monitor desktop or gaming setup.
