I got this a few years ago. I did not do enough research my motherboard at the time only had 1 gen 5 lane that could be routed to either the M.2 slots or to the GPU slot. I needed the GPU slot to be Gen 5 more than I needed the M.2 slot. I haven't used it since. The OCCT tests are not benchmarks they are stability tests. It is not trying to get to the 12000 or so Mbps Read/Write. Its just a stress test to ensure it works properly.
