Description

Ryzen 9 7950X, 16 cores and 32 threads on AM5. It ran in my own machine and it worked exactly as it should the entire time. No physical or functional defects. Pin pads are clean.

History: [2 years] of use in a gaming rig. Cooled by Noctua NH-D15. Ran stock / PBO with Curve Optimizer, no overvolting. Never delidded, never ran liquid metal. Thermal paste cleaned off with isopropyl before listing.

NOTES

1. This chip ships without a cooler — AMD never bundled one with the 7950X. Plan on a 280mm+ AIO or a high-end dual-tower air cooler. It will run hot and boost to 95°C by design; that's the intended behavior, not a fault.
2. If your AM5 board is an early B650/X670, update the BIOS before you drop this in. Most boards shipped ready, but a few early ones didn't.
