Fully functional motherboard/CPU combo removed from a working system.

The motherboard was recently powered on and tested. It successfully POSTs and enters BIOS without issues. Photos of the BIOS screen and CPU temperature screen are included to verify operation.

The Intel Core i7-6700K CPU remains installed in the motherboard socket for shipping protection.

Important Shipping Note

The CPU cooler is included but will be detached from the motherboard for shipping.

The cooler is relatively large and shipping it attached could place excessive stress on the motherboard during transit. The CPU will remain installed in the socket, while the cooler, fan, clips, and mounting hardware will be packaged separately in the box.

Additional Details

This MSI Z170A SLI PLUS motherboard uses the Intel Z170 chipset and supports LGA1151 6th-generation Intel processors.

The included Intel i7-6700K features Intel HD Graphics 530, allowing the system to operate without a separate graphics card for general computing, office use, media playback, and troubleshooting. It is also one of the most popular Skylake processors and remains a solid choice for retro gaming, budget gaming builds, homelab projects, and general-purpose systems.
