Edit: After Running a few benchmarks for a potential buyerI realized that this card needed to be repasted. While disassembling the card I broke one of the RGB Head pins. See Picture 4. The cards temps are amazing after repasting. Under Full Load - GPU 63C, Memory 54C, & Hot Spot Down to 73C. Also the fans never went over 70%. Card is working great but now has a flaw that is worse then cosmetic. I dropped the price to $375. I think this is fair.

Hello all,

I am dismantling and selling an Octominer mining rig that I have used for about a year. This card was used in that rigg and mined Ethereum during that time.

I modded the card with the following for thermal performance.

  1. Kritical Thermal Pads - Extreme Conductivity (20 W/mK) for the VRM & Other Part.

  2. https://www.coolmygpu.com/ - Copper Memory Cooling Plate

  3. Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Thermal paste for the CPU and Memory Cooling Plate

These mods kept the memory below 85C. I am unsure of what each card ran at mining, but all cards were under 85C and some were even in the low 70C range. All cards were GDDR6X which is known to run hot.

When benchmarking this card, the Temps were between 74-80C during full load. I ran the Unigine Heaven Benchmark for 30 minutes with no issues.

I cleaned the cards as best I could, I did not dismantle the heatsink or repaste them while cleaning. For the sake of transparency there was/is some corrosion/rust on the back of the card where the air was coming in the Octominer case (see picture 4, the steel plate below the fins in the lower left). My guess this was from moisture in the air as I live in Florida and it can be humid at times. I have adjusted the price for this.

Please reach out if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Jon
