I have a xbox 360 with Kinect, 500gb internal drive and 1tb external drive. Original xbox games can be stored on internal drive and xbox 360 games are stored on the external. When the xbox is turned on all you have to do is have the usb plugged in and wait for it to load into the games menu. The pictures don't show everything so if you have any questions just let me know.
