This memory kit is open-box. It was installed in a planned worker-node PC build that ended up going in a different direction, so it was never actually put into service. Beyond installation, photography, and validation testing—including the MemTest86 run shown in the listing photos—the modules have not been used for daily work, mining, or long-term workloads. The final build direction moved to an AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO platform, which requires DDR5 RDIMM memory and is not compatible with standard UDIMM kits like this one.

Per G.SKILL specs, this kit features DDR5-6000 speed (PC5-48000), 128GB capacity (2 x 64GB modules), CL34-44-44-96 timings, 1.35V voltage, 288-pin DIMM form factor, and support for both AMD EXPO and Intel XMP 3.0. The matte black aluminum heat spreaders include the Trident Z5 Neo RGB light bar and have a 44mm height. This is the high-capacity 64GB-module variant, so confirm your motherboard BIOS supports 64GB DDR5 modules (most boards with BIOS updates from 2025 onward do).

Functional: New, open-box condition. Fully tested and verified working with no known functional issues. MemTest86 v11.7 verified: 52/52 tests passed with 0 errors across 4 passes (~12 hours). EXPO/XMP profile enabled and validated at rated 6000 MT/s speeds.

This kit ships with both AMD EXPO and Intel XMP 3.0 profiles and will run at rated speeds on compatible AMD and Intel DDR5 motherboards. Because this kit uses 64GB modules, ensure your motherboard BIOS is updated to a version that supports high-density DDR5 DIMMs. For best results, enable the EXPO/XMP profile in BIOS to reach the rated overclock speed. Maximum memory speed and system stability depend on the capability of the motherboard and CPU memory controller. The memory kit will boot at the SPD speed when BIOS settings are at default. Please confirm your motherboard's qualified vendor list (QVL) for this kit before purchasing.
