Selling a used Intel Core i9-14900K 14th Gen Desktop Processor, model BX8071514900K.

This CPU was installed in my second worker-node PC for a professional development setup. The system saw limited use before I migrated the workload to a dedicated AI server/workstation build, so I no longer need this processor.

It was used for local development and workstation-style tasks, not gaming, overclocking experimentation, mining, or long-term heavy daily operation. While in use, I did not experience crashes, freezing, instability, or functional issues.

The CPU will come packaged in its original Intel retail box.

Per Intel specs, this model features 24 cores / 32 threads, with 8 Performance-cores and 16 Efficient-cores, up to 6.00 GHz max turbo frequency, 36MB Intel Smart Cache, LGA1700 socket compatibility, integrated Intel UHD Graphics 770, support for compatible DDR5 / DDR4 platforms, and PCIe support on compatible Intel 600-series and 700-series motherboards.

Intel lists this CPU with 125W processor base power and 253W maximum turbo power. Actual performance, boost behavior, thermals, and stability depend on the buyer’s motherboard, BIOS version, cooling solution, power settings, memory configuration, workload, and full system setup.

Condition

Functional: Pulled from a working second worker-node PC with no known functional issues. No instability, crashing, freezing, or operational issues were experienced while in use.

Cosmetic: Used condition. Please review all listing photos for the exact physical condition of the CPU, heat spreader, contact pads, and retail packaging.

Compatibility Notes

This is an Intel LGA1700 desktop CPU for compatible Intel 600-series and 700-series motherboards.

Some motherboards may require a BIOS update before supporting 14th Gen Intel processors. Buyer should confirm motherboard, BIOS, cooler, RAM, PSU, and case compatibility before purchasing.

Because the i9-14900K is a high-power unlocked CPU, it should be paired with appropriate cooling and a motherboard capable of supporting its power requirements. Buyer should use current motherboard BIOS guidance and Intel-recommended/default power settings where applicable.
