Overview & Specs
Selling a Crucial T500 4TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe M.2 SSD, model CT4000T500SSD3.
This SSD was installed in my second worker-node PC as high-speed storage for my backup rendering station. It saw less than two months of light use—roughly 1–2 days per week at most—and has not been used for daily work, mining, or long-term workloads. It stored project files, cache data, and scratch space for development and rendering workloads before I upgraded the machine to faster ~14,900 MB/s PCIe Gen5 SSDs.
The drive has been fully tested with CrystalDiskMark and verified in working condition. SMART data shows minimal wear. It is covered by Crucial's 5-year limited warranty.
Per Crucial specs, this drive features 4TB capacity, PCIe Gen 4 x4 NVMe interface, M.2 2280 form factor, Micron 232L 3D TLC NAND, and a Phison E25 controller with onboard DRAM cache. Sequential performance is rated up to 7,000 MB/s read and 6,900 MB/s write, with random performance up to 1,050K IOPS read. Endurance is rated at 2,400 TBW. The drive is compatible with desktops, laptops, and PlayStation 5 consoles that support M.2 2280 NVMe storage.
