Brand New: I got this board because my ROG Strix Z790E Gaming WIFI II had to be sent in for warranty. For whatever reason they considered a brand new Z790 Dark Hero as a 'same or comparable model' which is ridiculous since the Dark Hero MSRP is over double that of the model I sent in. In the process of waiting for the RMA (Asus RMAs are so slow) I ended up selling my I9-14900k to a buddy and switching to AMD (because the 9850x3D had come out), so I no longer have a use for this board. That's why I'm selling it. Had I known they were going to send me this in return I probably wouldn't have made the switch to AMD. This is a BRAND NEW board they sent me. It even still has the plastic peels on it for you to tear off to your enjoyment.

DISCLAIMER: Since I received this new board as part of an RMA it does NOT have the full 3 year warranty. The warranty expires on 9-18-2027. I think that's a fair trade off for the price though, and motherboards rarely ever have to be sent in anyway.
