Selling a used AORUS GeForce RTX™ 5090 32G, model GV-N5090AORUSX W-32GD.

This card came out of a prebuilt assembled by Paradox Customs in NYC and was used approximately 2-3 days per week for less than four months before I migrated my workload to the cloud. It was used for local development and creative workloads such as GPU rendering, Blender/3D workflows, Unity, VFX, AI/rendering, and audio/visual production.

The card was not used for mining nor abused. It has been handled carefully.

Per Gigabyte/AORUS specs, this model features a GeForce RTX 5090, 32GB GDDR7, 512-bit memory bus, 21,760 CUDA cores, PCIe 5.0, 3x DisplayPort 2.1b, 1x HDMI 2.1b, and a factory WATERFORCE AIO liquid cooler with a 360mm radiator and 3x 120mm ARGB fans.

I have owned and tested both this AORUS XTREME WATERFORCE RTX 5090 and the MSI SUPRIM LIQUID RTX 5090. In my testing, this AORUS card ran about 10-13°C cooler and averaged roughly 10-14 FPS higher in comparable FurMark 2 testing. While it has the shroud issue noted below, performance and thermals are genuinely top-tier.

Condition

Functional: Benchmarked with FurMark 2 and performs as expected with strong results and no known functional issues. Idle temps typically stabilize around 29-34°C. FurMark 2 load temps ranged from about 51-67°C, with lower temps on initial runs and higher temps during repeated back-to-back testing.

Cosmetic: Very clean overall, but the bottom exterior shroud has a cosmetic mounting issue. This Gigabyte/AORUS WATERFORCE model has documented owner reports online of the lower shroud/cover separating or coming loose. My card has that same cosmetic issue. It does not affect performance, cooling, benchmark results, display output, radiator/fan operation, or normal use. GPU works normally with proper GPU support installed.

Power Requirement

Gigabyte lists this card with a 1000W recommended PSU and 1x 16-pin power connector.

Use a compatible PSU and the correct 12V-2x6 / 12VHPWR cable or adapter supplied by, or approved by, your PSU manufacturer for your exact PSU model. Do not mix modular PSU cables between brands or PSU models.

Packing / Shipping

No original box is included.

The GPU and radiator/fans will each be placed in separate 3-mil static shielding bags, then placed together inside a larger 3-mil static shielding bag.

The larger bag will be packed with self-expanding foam on the bottom and top so the item is held snugly and does not shift. That box will then be placed inside a double-wall corrugated shipping box with padding.
