I buy and test ssd's as a hobby. Biwin is a Chinese White Label Manufacturer. They make ssd's for Acer such as the Acer Predator. They make ssd's for HP and now Acer. They are renowned for their quality drives as well as ram sticks which they are also OEM manufacturers.
They are now putting out their own branded ssd's and ram as well.
This Biwin Black Opal NV7400 is a dram-less ssd with a Maxio Map 1602 controller with either YMTC 232 layer TLC NAND Flash or Micron 176 layer TLC NAND Flash. Either way this drive is screaming fast with a 5 year warranty or 2000 TBW whichever comes first. The TBW is phenomenal. That means you can write 2tb of data 1000 times before the drive becomes read only in it's lifespan!!!
The drive still shows 100% usage available in Crystal Disk Mark which is parctically new. I have 2 of these ssd's that have approximately the same useage left. Right at 100%.
- Capacity2TB
- InterfaceNVME SSD
- Form FactorM.2
