I'd recommend this RX-79TMERCB9 for 1440p and (probably) 4K gaming. This card does okay w/ ray-tracing, but I wouldn't put the settings too high for RT if you care about performance. The 20GB of VRAM is perfect if you're adding lots of texture mods into your games or doing video editing.
I've run it through a few different games (Cyberpunk, Tom Clancy's The Division, Hogwarts Legacy, TES IV Oblivion Remastered) and memtest_vulkan to make sure everything's good and I haven't noticed any issues.
This card is massive, so make sure your case can actually fit it before buying. Using the included support bracket is a must due to the weight of this card. Here are the specs I pulled from the XFX site:
- Card Dimension (cm) 34.4 x 12.8 x 5.5
- Card Dimension (inch) 13.5 x 5.04 x 2.17
- ChipsetAMD
- BrandXFX
- SeriesRadeon RX 7900 XT
- Memory20GB
