Selling Used-Good condition AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D
This CPU was gamed on daily and have never had issues. I have played games both graphically demanding and cpu demanding and this CPU has been able to chew up anything I can throw at it.
Now I am sure you are asking " Why are you selling this then? " The answer being I am switching up things on my gaming setup. I side graded/upgraded to the 9850X3D. I was not using this CPU to its fullest and think that it deserves to battle-on in someone else's battle station/workstation.
Please Note The 7900X3D has 2 CCD's each with 6 cores. Only 1x CCD and its 6 cores have the 3D-vcache. If you are on Windows and have the Xbox game bar ENABLED then the scheduler in the OS will properly force games to use the 3D-vcache. If you have Xbox game bar disabled there has been some performance issues in the past. Newest chipset drivers should have also helped prevent this from occurring but I wanted to make you aware. There are manual software solutions such as Process Lasso but I do not recommend messing with that unless you know what you are doing.
For Thermal paste I opted to use a "Thermal Grizzly KryoSheet (33x33x0.2)". This thin graphene pad has excellent thermal conductivity and is super easy to install and remove. Please Note the 2nd photo, the one with red circles There was a area of the cpu that some of the kryosheet dripped onto. There is zero issues because of this. I did clean it up a bit with 99% isopropyl alcohol but didn't want to get too rough with it. Again, the cpu is totally fine and there is zero issues because of this, I am just being as transparent as possible.
I attached a couple of photos, one from Cinebench 2026 and the other from cpuMark. The processor performs within expected ranges.
