Basically a brand new 7700x, and this 8-core chip is a little monsters. It boosts up to like 5.5ghz, was much faster than the 7800 on single core single thread stuff

This chip was always may “backup” so it never saw any use.

Bought this as a backup for my primary 7800 rig and never really ran it. The CPU might have a couple of hours of use on it. It ran very well and snappy, but this processor is basically brand new still it was only used for a couple hours so you’re getting a great part with basically no wear and tear on it at all. Like I said, bought new off Amazon around summer 2025, installed in a backup rig briefly and ran few hours for benchmarking. This Chip is a monster obviously! Get a new one for a great price!
