Overview & Specs
NOTE: This is the FASTEST DDR4 3200/MT low-latency memory produced for AMD Ryzen processors and is highly suitable for overclocking enthusiasts striving for the last ounce of performance from their AM4 system.
A little history about this RAM:
This high-performance memory kit was installed in an mITX B550 motherboard with a Ryzen 9 5900X B2-stepping CPU, and performed admirably at its 3200 CL14 XMP 2.0 profile settings.
It was never overclocked or configured with tighter timings beyond manufacturer specs.
The DIMMs use Samsung B-dies and are dual-rank (2R).
The case in which they were installed had excellent ventilation, and the RAM never exceeded 40C under load (Memtest86 testing). Tests have always been flawless.
- Q: Does it work in an Intel system?
- A: Yes. The timings, however, are optimized for best compatibility and performance for the AMD memory controller.
G.Skill Specs:
Memory Type: DDR4 - Capacity: 32GB (16GBx2) - Multi-Channel Kit: Dual Channel Kit - OC Profile Support: Intel XMP 2.0 - Tested Speed (Up To) (XMP): 3200 MT/s - Tested Latency (XMP): 14-14-14-34 - Tested Voltage (XMP): 1.35V - Registered/Unbuffered: Unbuffered - Error Checking (ECC): Non-ECC - SPD Speed (Default): 2133 MT/s - SPD Voltage (Default): 1.20V - Fan Included: No - Warranty: Limited Lifetime - Features: Intel XMP 2.0 (Extreme Memory Profile) Ready
Additional Notes
- Do not mix memory kits. Memory kits are sold in matched kits that are designed to run together as a set. Mixing memory kits will result in stability issues or system failure.
- Prior to enabling XMP, memory kits will boot at the SPD speed at default BIOS settings with compatible hardware.
- For memory kits with XMP, enable XMP/DOCP/A-XMP profile in BIOS to reach up to the rated potential XMP overclock speed of the memory kit, subject to the use of compatible hardware. Enabling XMP is an act of overclocking and requires BIOS setting adjustments.
- Reaching the rated XMP overclock speed and system stability will depend on the compatibility and capability of the motherboard and CPU used.
