This Asus TUF Gaming RTX 3080 12G OC LHR is in great condition and has only been used for gaming with its Silent Mode BIOS (Dual BIOS with Performance/Silent Modes).

Because of the power draw of the 3080 and the factory-installed thermal pads, it would idle at a temperature of about 51C and easily reach 78-81C under load (Furmark). I replaced the thermal pads with a Kritical Pads 20 W/mK kit and repasted the GPU using Kingpin Cooling KPx thermal paste to drastically reduce the temperatures. It now idles at about 35C and reaches 65-68C under load.

The GPU has only been overclocked during testing a handful of times. As mentioned earlier, the GPU has only been used on a dedicated gaming system using the Silent BIOS with no overclocking/undervolting for daily use and gaming.

This card absolutely REQUIRES A PSU OF AT LEAST 850W to avoid it crashing under full load. I tested it with multiple EVGA Gold and Platinum-rated PSUs to test stability. Works well with 850W, and it's rock solid with 1000W. This GPU uses 2x8-pin power connectors and has LEDs that light up if a connector isn't plugged in.

This is a 3-slot card.
