EVGA GeForce GTX 950
This card was bought by my buddy new and gamed with for a couple years until 2023 when he removed it, upgraded and gave it to me…
It was never abused or mined with or anything crazy, works perfectly, I ran it in my Jellyfin server for a few months and it performed like a champ as is usual for EVGA gpus.
Just to be up-front, I attempted to unscrew the dust shroud last year to clean the built/up dust and only got 3 out before I decided against it…I was going to clean off the heatsink and remove the dust it accumulated over the years, but I felt like I might break something and backed out….and unfortunately I lost the 3 screws…
2 are the tiny ones that go under the right fan and one on the back that I replaced with a different type/same thread size so the fan shroud needs 2 of those tiny screws to be fully secured back on.
I Never actually removed the shroud, never opened the card up, but I wanted to make that clear since it’s missing those screws I don’t want you to think it’s been opened up and messed with, it hasn’t….
I got back into PCs when 8GB cards were the norm so I never thought much of this card except for server use, and my first card was an Intel arc a750, so I have just held this card for a few years now without doing much with it.
I tried locating the screws to no avail, should be a very easy fix if that bothers you. The fan shroud is still secured but is a little loose without those 2 under the right side…
