Overview & Specs
Purchased new from MicroCenter in July 2020 when building my son's first gaming rig with him in high school. Recently upgraded his GPU and monitor in the same AM4 socket build as a college well done gift with his first 1440p monitor at 360Hz. Didn't have any technical issues with his build nor with the 2070 Super GPU. The cooler on the Gaming X is beefy, which is why is comes with a GPU stand (included - see photos). The rubber spacers on the stand need replacing (just put something thin and soft on it) as they disappeared into his case, not to be found. My son told me he never overclocked it. Worked great for his 1080p 240Hz monitor and his shooter/CPU bottleneck type games comfortably utilizing the full potential of his 240Hz monitor after we upgraded his CPU two years later to a 5080X3D (which was just re-released by AMD since that CPU was so solid for AM4 builds to push out frames). I kept the original packaging (see photos) and the GPU will be shipped in the original box, so it will have good padding when shipped. If new to the 2070 Super, this GPU used the same die as the 2080, just slightly slower. Priced to net $200 that I will be giving to my son.
