I recently purchased this PS4 Slim from Mercari. It arrived very dirty, so I performed a full teardown and deep cleaning. The console now looks brand new on the outside and is dust-free on the inside.

The Good:

Tested & Working: The console powers on, connects to PSN, and plays all digital games/streaming apps perfectly.

Latest Firmware: Currently on v13.02, making it 100% compatible with the latest online features.

Controller: Includes an official DualShock 4 in great shape with no stick drift.

Accessories: Comes with a high-speed HDMI cable, power cord, and charging cable.

The Issues:

Disc Drive: During reassembly after cleaning, the drive began acting up. It accepts discs but will not read them and ejects them shortly after.

Internal Hardware: I lost one thermal pad during reassembly; I recommend replacing the pads before heavy long-term use.

Stripped Screw: One screw at the bottom of the power supply is stripped (see photos). I haven't investigated it further to avoid more damage.
