Any other computer tasks you need to do: production, programming, streaming, photo video audio editing, and content creation, this PC can do them all with great hardware acceleration and media encoding performance. If you want to play on your 4k TV, this PC is way faster than an Xbox S or PS5, and should be able to hit a consistent 60 fps with medium settings, VSYNC, and DLSS: balanced. (some games might not be able to reach a consistent 60, creating a custom resolution in Nvidia Control Panel at 45 or 50 fps and turning down a few shadow settings should give you any extra headroom you need for smooth gameplay and sharp image quality, I prefer that to DLSS: performance myself).

Hardware Comparison

The RTX 3060Ti is a great value GPU, with raster and raytracing performance consistently between an RTX 4060 and RTX 5060; similarly, faster than the RX 7600 XT, RX 6700, and RTX 2080 Super. The Intel 11700K is also powerful, performing a little bit faster than a Ryzen 5700X in games and most productivity tasks. The two parts are well-matched and should have no CPU bottle-necking.

History

This used to be a home media computer that lived next to the TV; I refurbished and upgraded it with a more powerful GPU. Refurbishing included 1) cleaning the case interior; 2) cleaning the stock AIO heatsink and pump, flushing the AIO with fresh coolant (distilled water with 'liquid utopia' anti-microbial/anti-corrosion), and re-pasting the CPU; 3) upgrading the stock 140mm fan to an Arctic p14 Pro, 4) upgrading integrated graphics to the RTX 3060Ti GPU; 5) optimizing BIOS settings for gaming; 6) Re-installing a fresh, activated copy of Windows 11, and stress testing with games.
