Budget 1080p Gaming PC

This custom built budget PC will play pretty much play anything at 1080p high or max settings. I had some spare parts (GPU, SSDs, and HDD) and though it might be nice to make a budget gaming PC for someone looking to get into PC gaming. Windows 11 home has been instaled. The CPU has been undervolted to ensure cool temps during heavy loads and that it is stable. As a result, PC runs quiet under load. A more thorough description of the parts are listed below.

Brand New Parts

CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 5500. Basic AM4 budget CPU with 6 cores and 12 threads. It's good enough to do pretty much anything, though it's likely not the best for super intensive CPU tasks like video editing. However, it is pretty good for gaming. It came with a Wraith Stealth CPU cooler that is also used here. Note this CPU does not have any integrate graphics.

Motherboard - MSI B550M-VC- Wifi motherboard. Standard AM4 motherboard with wifi, bluetooth, ethernet, 6 USB ports (2 are 3.0 and the rest are 2.0), headphone jack, microphone jack, and other ports for hooking up to a display.

Ram - TEAMGROUP T-force Delta RGB DDR4 3200 CL16-20-20-40 16GB kit (2x 8 GB ram sticks). Pretty standard ram for DDR4.

PSU - Seasonic Core GX-750. This is a ATX 3.1 750 W power supply that is PCIe 5.1 ready. It has more than enough power for the PC, so if you decide to upgrade the GPU later, you should be able to (depending on the GPU).

Case - Zalman M4 case. This is a black mini tower case (8 in wide, 16 in tall, 14.5 in deep) that came pre-installed with 6 120 mm RGB case fans (3 in the front, 2 on the top, and 1 in the back). Front and top have mesh panels, so the case gets good airflow. On the top the case are the power button, 1 USB 3.0 port, 2 USB 2.0 ports, headphone jack, microphone jack, HDD status light, and a button for turning the RGB on the fans on and off. It also has a side glass panel such that if the PC is placed to your right, you can see inside. The RGB on the fans is static and cannot be changed with software.

** Used Parts**

GPU - MSI RTX 2070 with 8GB of VRAM. Came as part of a prebuilt from back in 2019. It didn't get much use until 2023 when I started playing games with it much more heavily. Thus, while it is almost 7 years old, only about half of that was with serious use. I've never had any problems with it and it comfortably played games like Fortnite and Marvel Rivals at 1080p max settings with 60+ FPS

SSDs - 2 Samsung M.2 drives from different laptops. There is a 1 TB SSD and a 512 GB SSD. The 1 TB was purchased to replace a 256 GB laptop ssd that my laptop initially came with. I ended up using it for about 5 years until I needed to get a laptop with more power for work. During its time, it did not give me any issues. The 512 GB ssd came from my brother's laptop. It was from a laptop purchased back in 2020 and used until about 2024 when the charging port had errors and the laptop had issues turning on. Up until I put it in this system, it was not used so its in good condition and never had any issues when it was used in the laptop.

HDD - Seagate Barracuda 7200 RPM HDD. This is from my grandmother's old PC from maybe 20 years ago. It still works, but I would not recommend putting games on here. Best to use it to store extra files and stuff you don't need to access all the time.
