That's right an RTX 5080 PC under $2k. My goal here was to create a PC that games, period. The CPU was selected because the 7500X3D is a 7800X3D minus 11% for gaming workloads - roughly a 9700X for gaming. This means, unless you are purchasing a 5080 to get 600fps in Counter Strike, your bottleneck will be the 5080 (when gaming at max settings at 1440p or 4k). Basically, this system is a 5080 and everything else was built around that to let it do its work.
There are other 5080 PCs with more expensive CPUs, etc. If you want one, by all means, buy one (or hit up the optional upgrades below). If you want 5080 performance but want to buy a system at a price point where you have to shop hard to even get a 5070ti, buy this system. I assure you it is the only game in town. My intended market are folks looking at 5070 - 5070ti systems and thinking it might be fun to get that bigger GPU without going into a new price bracket.
The 5080 is a fantastic card. Great power and performance gets the job done with GPU beef! This GPU gets you access to the high end graphics experiences (4k Path Tracing) that are impossible on weaker cards. Might want to get that 4K monitor. It can even play Borderlands 4 at 1080p low settings xD (seriously, devs gotta optimize their games).
Fresh build! The chassis, CPU, Motherboard, cooler, NVMe, and PSU are in new condition. GPU is newly-purchased refurbished. RAM is in used fair condition - error free.
The GPU is vertically mounted using a Cooler Master GPU mount.
